I just finished up putting in my Dodgezilla and after cranking the motor up to warm up I noticed white smoke coming out of the exhaust and oil dripping out of the resonator drain hole. I've done sevral searches and a little smoke is to be expected but this has me a little concerned, especially the oil part... . cleaned up about a cup full. What could have went wrong? The install was pretty straight foward, out with the old, in with the new. I drove it for about 1 mile hoping it would clear up but no dice and now the oil is oming out of the exhaust. Any suggestions?

Disconnect the exhaust from the turbo and see if oil is coming from it. Is the oil drain plugged, forcing oil out past the seal?

Never mind.

NOTE- TO- SELF: don't let your buddies come over to help with a project if your not going to check thier every move. The a-holes didn't pull the dust plug from the botom of the turbo before they hooked the line up.

Everythings hooked back up correctly, is everything ok? I only drove it around the block (maybe a mile) before I parked it and started trouble shooting, but now I'm afraid something went bad in order for the oil to start dripping out the exhaust. Is it OK to run?

when you first install a new turbo you are suppose to put oil into the inlet and spin the turbo by hand to prelube the bearings.

If you would have done this, you may have noticed a problem before running it :(

sorry

well I'd call the seller and see what they want you to do--they may want it to check out----or you can drive it and see--if it's shot it's shot and you never know you may have got lucky---chris
