I was just wondering what the turbo life expectancy was with an Edge EZ and boost elbow. I routinely hit 38# while towing and 34# empty. I had heard that anything over 30# is bad for a stock turbo. Just wondering if I need to start saving my money.

I have the Edge on level 3 and the boost elbow on an otherwise stock SO. I rarely see 30 psi.

Your Turbo will hold up fine. I would keep it at 38 or below mainly because it just heats the Charge air up alot more at the boost levels above 35 =/-.







If you need more & cooler air we have Three different turbo (Direct bolt in) models available for the 03. And two of them are available in different versions.

I swapped my stock HX35w turbo for a PDR40 at about 85000 miles. I was constantly pushing it to 38 psi of boost with DD3's and the Puck. When I took it off I noticed it was starting to leak oil on the compressor side. Needless to say I was happy to get it off the truck.
