Turbo noise

17. 6.7. 2500. Towing 35’ travel trailer. Just got back from vacation 300 miles. Turbo started to wisle when decelerating. And the boost was up and down psi wise. Truck as 17000 miles on it. Any help would be good!

You have the engine break turned on? will make some noise when it's activated.

I hear whistle when the windows are down as exhaust brake restricts air flow through the turbo. Pressurized air makes a slight whistle or hiss.

When hooked up to a trailer that has electric brakes, and starting the truck, it will turn on the exhaust brake full automatically.
