I need to find a longer hose for my oil drain into the block. I switched turbos and the hse I have is too short. Cummins only has the 3" hose like I already have. NAPA salesman found the hose in his book but it was special order and at $20 a foot it gets pretty expensive. Is there a cheaper alternative out there. I'm not sure how much heat and pressure this hose would have to hold up to. Any ideas?? Thanks!!

Any high temp hose should work. I too had to modify my drain line as well his past weekend when I installed my HTB2 turbo. I ended up having to cut the hard line as well as bend it to make it work, then ran down to the local truck parts place and got some 1" high temp hose. Is working fine. There is no pressure on the drain line as tat is what it is, a drain line. I would try and keep the hose as far away from the turbine housing as possible to avoid any melting or burning of the hose.

A friend of mine actually told me that Cummins sells a flexible turbo oil drain line, but he couldn't find the part number and supposedly most Cummins shops don't know what it is.

Good luck, Joe
