what im looking for is something based off of the hx35 possibly or just slightly bigger. so ya'll know its for a friend not me as i have a rather large turbo and love it. the truck is a 97 5speed w/ a ground plate bumped timing and a loose afc what we want is to hit 40 to 45 psi fairly fast and support 800ish ft lbs torque. i was thinking dodgezilla htt or pdr 40 35/40 hybrid. im wondering what other options are. like i mentioned are main goals are 40 to 45 psi fast spool up and can support 800+ ftlbs. so what is there out there

I'm running a HTT Stage 3 hybrid. Good upgrade for 'milder' trucks - instant spool. Mine is set to 44psi. However, it's a little small for my fueling level. I can get hot if I lay in it for a bit. The best part is as long as you can do the small amount of machining to the center section, it's a reasonably low cost upgrade.

35/40 High bred.

I like my 35/40.

Works great with my combo.

I could use a little more air for those long hills towing 6,000 lbs at 70 mph.

I can get it hot. Then I have to back off and let it cool down.

Real fast spool up with the AFC set loose.

I currently have the AFC snugged up a bit for MPG control.

40 psi no problem.

I also have a 35/40 hybrid . Mine is a dodgezilla from City diesel. I also have the 14cm wastegated housing, and big head wg actuator.

Mine spools just as fast as stock initially, and faster than stock once its spooled at all.

I am now running mine between 38 and 40psi, but Im also above 5,000 feet altitude. Ive made 50+ with it before though.

Im going to back it back down to around 36psi though to keep it in the eff range better at my altitude.

I love it towing, cools decent enough. I could use more air, but I dont want to sacrifice the spool.
