Help me. I have a bully dog Outlook on my truck and going down the road pulling a 16K trrailer the boost goes from 22 to 24 then zero. Is this normal or do I have a wastegate problem?

Does the throttle pedal go dead? Have you cycled the key three times and looked for error codes. Po216 is death of the VP44 IP. SNOKING

No the pedal does not go dead and there is no noticeable loss of power just outlook guage goes to zero. But I will check the codes thanks.

I have read in other threads about people getting up to 30 lbs of boost how do they do that?

First off you need a box or something to do boost fooling so that the ECM does not defuel the engine because of overboost. Then if you have a HX35 you need an adjustable elbow on the turbo (small brass fitting in the boost line to the wastegate). If you have a HY35 you need a jhook and should limit boost to 27 lbs.

Why do you want more boost, are you having high EGT's? SNOKING

Just wondering. With a 16k trailer I have a little trouble no lots of trouble keeping speed on the highway. I have the outlook but i might need more.
