i recently installed the d-25 springs on the front of my truck, and i was taking the shock towers apart and pulled off my turbo elbow from air box to turbo, and all i saw was oil laying in the lip of the turbo, and it was engine oil,it is the stock hy and i sappose the bearings are out cause i grabbed the nut and could move it back and forth alittle, should i check anything or is it junk :{ ... thanks for your answers.

Side to side play is acceptable, excessive front to back movement is not.

Are you sure that oil is engine oil, and not oil from your K&N. The oil from that filter will get inside your engine (and ruin sensors), not to mention allow the fins of your turbo to become dirty (at least with the trucks I have worked on).

You will know the turbo is junk when it blows up. If it has not blown yet, chances are good that it is fine.
