2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Turbo Questions

Yesterday I got my truck back with a new turbo from Scheids. I couldnt be happier. Just had some questions such as why at the same boost does this thing seem to accelerate much faster? It will haul some A now.



Also I was just curious as to what kind of boost a B-1 and its counterparts will make.

I can only assume you went up in turbo size. If so, the new turbo is likely moving more CFM of air at the same boost level, so you are more efficientlyl burning the fuel you have.

Yes I increased the size. It is a turbo that they have come up with that is said to be like a B-1. Sorry for not specifying that to begin with. It has some lag but it is not to bad.



This is my first turbo upgrade so I didnt know what to expect. 20 PSI with this turbo accelerates much faster than with the stock one, etc. I have had it around 55 PSI so far.
