Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Turbo-Side Intercooler Duct Pipe Orientation

I just purchased the BD Intercooler Hose & Clamp replacement kit for my '96 Ram 3500 Duelly. I did noy pay close attention to the Intercooler duct pipe on the Turbo side, when I removed the pipe, old hoses and clamps. the pipe has an elbow bend near one of the ends. Does the elbow bend go up towards the turbo inlet, or orient down to connect to the Intercooler angled boot? It's impossible to tell from the BD Kit installation diagram. A photo of the correct orientation would be much appreciated.

I ordered replacement hoses for my '98. 5 from Geno's Garage, and they came with instructions for which way they go. It would have been confusing otherwise. Try Geno's if you don't find your answer.

Short end toward the turbo with the angle leading to the intercooler away from the engine.
