I've got a code, P0236 Turbo / Super Boost Sensor A CKT Range Perf, swapped map sensor from another truck, no change truck is in limp mode and the scanner can't clear the code. I'm running one of those boost replacement sensors on the wire that used to go to the stock turbo, so I pulled the old unit from my stock turbo and still the same thing. Anyone got any ideas. I've already unhooked the TST and the SP module.

Can't read can ya! Ya know you may not mean to but sometimes you come across as a real smart ***. Will the downloader clear codes the others won't? I got it fixed not sure how, must have been the boost regulator that plugs on the turbo, the map sensor was good. It just took it a few starts and I kept trying with the scanner to clear the code and turn off the cel and presto it worked and truck came out of limp mode.

I still get 0299 codes that throw my truck into limp mode sometimes and the bullydog downloader will clear the code at the push of a button with no restarts needed at all. I have tried to clear the code with restarts and it never did clear and that was with about 50 restarts.

I am pretty sure a regular scanner type tool will not clear a 0299.

I understand you dont have a 0299 but it is practically the same code having to do with the turbocharger boost not being able to be controlled by the command valve.

Yeah I did do it on purpose to answer your question with a solution that has worked for me since I have had this happen.
