Well the truck is going to get a new turbo tomorrow------nothing major-------I purchased a Piers "bomber lite" and will be putting it on Sunday as well as the new gauges I have had for 3 months.

I figured now would be the best time to drill the manifold when I have everything off. I HOPE everthing goes smooth and I have good results.

Just a thought... When you take the turbo off and start to drill take note for us just how much metal makes it into the down pipe. I want to get an EGT gauge soon and want to know just how much metal will have to go by the turbo if I do not remove it first. Thanks and I hope things go smooth!!

I know you just put your gauges in but can you post on how your liking this turbo and how it spools, boost #'s, egt's, power, and noise.

Iam real happy with the bomber lite. I have been running it for a month or two. Runs great with the TTPM on level 4. EGT's are at 1000* towing up hill. 10,000 lbs no problem. Boost is waste gated at 36 psi. Mileage has gone up 1 mpg spool up is real fast.

I am taking it easy--------They said not to get on it for the first 200 miles. I didnt have gauges before so I really dont know where my temp was running---I never got on it hard because I didnt have gauges--------i have the TTPM off for now until I get the 200 miles. I will say you can hear the whine a little more with this turbo.

In a stock truck I saw 1250* empty once or twice. With DDIII's I saw 1550* empty. I would say that the Piers turbo is good for an EZ only. Much more than that it gets too hot for me. Reminder, I have an SO... ... ...
