I have the smarty revo and F1 injectors. I also have a garrett stage 3 turbo. This turbo is way too big and on level 9 i can get to 1600+. I am wondering if I should spend the 1100 dollars to upgrade to a BB stage 2 or spend that 1100 else where. Also will adding a FASS or airdog help to lower the EGTs? thanks...

I think your high EGT is more a sign of low rail pressure than needing more boost...

With the smarty and F1's, have you modded the CP3 yet?

Flux 1's that is why I was thinking that maybe a FASS or Airdog might help me to lower the EGTs my CP3 is still stock tho..... if i do those mods will my stage 3 work better for me?

a fuel system should help the amount of fuel you can put out, but the bottom line is that you need a rail pressure gauge if you're going to get the truck dialed in

How about water/meth injection, I'm thinking of getting it after my currently ongoing DTT install. Of course I'm entertaining it not for towing or other long duration events-just a full on run with someone on HOT level. From what I've read the EGT benefit could be 250F and up to 70 hp, not a lot of feedback on systems around here however. If I install I'll let you know.

should I also get a fuel pressure gauge? I was thinking of getting rid of My pda and getting a boost, egt, fuel and rail pressure gauges... . is this all that is needed or do i need more?

Those are the four that I run. I hardly ever tow, so I didn't see the need for a transmission temp.

I got cooler EGT's by running a smaller turbo. I went from a 66/14 to a 62/14. The 66's boost could never get ahead of the EGT's, it seemed. Maybe it would have been better with an auto?

maybe with a factory auto and sloppy converter, but I think it would be even worse with a built auto.

the 62 really is a great compressor for these trucks!

well i think the first thing that i will do is get rid of the PDA and get analog gauges, then Ill do the Airdog and see where I am then if need be i can upgrade the CP3 and change out the turbo...

I'd love a CP3 upgrade, but I'm pretty happy with my stocker... I've got a FASS 150 and I run the Smarty TNT-Race on level 9 with the TST on power level 4 with flux 1 injectors and I hold good rail pressure.

this thing would be NUTS with dual CP3's and the ability to crank up the fuel down low, but I'm quite pleased for now
