Nick, that manifold has sat in the box too long... it's gone bad. Better get a new one and start over :)

who sells 3955339 Multi layer gaskets online? i tried to type the part number in on yahoo and i cant find anyone that sells it. And i have no cummins dealers around me. .

I think the original poster asked about the turbo to manifold gasket, not manifold to head gasket.

I wondered about this since I have to drill the manifold for my pyro. I thought of unbolting the turbo and sandwiching a thick piece of paper between manifold outlet and turbo to catch any metal chips. But I wasn't sure if there was a gasket between the turbo and manifold.

On my turbo BMW kit there was no gasket..... both had machined surfaces so no need. Is this the case with the CTD????
