I have a 92 W-250 and I am getting ready to do some tweaking. I am going to put on a 16cm turbo housing and a kid I know that used to work on the Dodge Cummins at dealership told me they make a compressor wheel with one more vane and a different pitch that spools up almost as quickly as a waste gated turbo. Does anyone know anything about these other wheels especially a part number Rocky Mountain Truck here in Great Falls didn't know anything about them and his distributer didn't either.

Unless you just like to work on the truck I'd recommend a PDR modified HX35. I just put one on my 93 with the 16 exhaust housing I had on the HC1 and that thing is real quick to spool up. It will go from 10 PSI up to 26 or so in about a second. Is much fastrer than the original turbo. Didn't see much top boost improvement, only about 1. 5 pounds, but the speed of spool up is what really helps with the smoke problem. I have turned my pump up quite a bit since installing the turbo because I could do it without creating a misquito killer. :) Going up to Piers next week to see what the Dyno shows for power.
