Turbo Wrap Kit

Thermo-tec has a somewhat new turbo/down pipe wrap kit that has enough insulation to cover our systems and then some, I found it in the Jeggs High perf catalog. any one use anything like this and how much better is the spool and egts?

I have the thermal blanket that I got from Geno's. I put a thermal probe into the pipe plug where the wastegate gets picked up from on the compressor side of the turbo and found a 50 degree difference in pre-intercooler temperature under full throttle. The compressor being so close to the exhaust manifold is reason enough to insulate it.
