Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Turbo?

Hello,

I have got an HY35 turbo on my 2001 Auto.

Can I put an HX35 on it from another 2001?

What would I gain or loose?

Is the installation easy or hard?

Yes you can. It will be a little slower to spool but the egt and top end tradeoff is well worth it.

Evergreen! Cool! I'm in Conifer today although I live in the Springs now and will be moving to Parker. I frequent Evergreen every once in a while.

I did the same trade... Y for an X... bolted right up... no problems. It is slower to spool, but I don't really notice it 'til I hammer on it with no boost...

it doesn't have to be from a 2001 either, mine came off a '99 if I remember ??
