My truck is stock for now, 04. 5, and I see where some folk have replaced that cast pipe that comes from their turbo. What is this pipe and where can I purchased one from?

4" is adequate.

they have a cat back system for the 04. 5 made by MBRP, they sell it for like $390. 00. Then they have the cat elimination pipe for $56. 00 that comes straight off the turbo. Im currently saving up for the system.

You already have the large downpipe and cast elbow on the 04. 5.

You just need to decide if you want cat back or cat back with cat elminator pipe.

Who sells the cat eliminator?

Will it replace the cast elbow? down pipe from the turbo?

Is there a benefit? or do some just change these for the h~!! of it?

In one of the other threads Mark at diesel performance part (1-866-455-7788) said they have the systems in stock now. With or without the cat "test" pipe.
