Has any one used a HTBG turbo? and are you happy with it?

I've recently installed a HTB2 66-14. I hear the HTBG has a 58mm compressor wheel. Smaller and would spool up quicker although not support higher HP.



I got my 4" exhaust kit in today while I was in the garage hooking up the flex. Took it for a spin with only the 4" flex pipe back to the t-case for now, OH MY :--) is all I can say for now. Let's just say I opened the wastegate .



Depending on your fueling level, intended use of the truck and how far you want to go will determine which HTB2 you chose. I say pass on the 58 and get at least the 62 or bigger.

thanks the stock turbo just wont cut it any more. after all the work we did to the head and pump. I am in the middle of getting the intercooler together. any way I ordered the turbo today cant wait to get it.

Which one did you get 58, ?? 12 or 14cm housing??
