I agree, if your planning on going crazy with power get the 66, but I love my SPS 62 for everyday driving and towing a 8,000lb trailer every so often... Either way, there both great turbo's..... I also got the ATS arch flow and exhaust manifolds and man is my truck happy. AS far as turbo lag goes, you have nothing to worry about with the SPS62, this baby light's up quick and keeps on going past red line, "I have to be careful now" I hit 3200 RPM perty damn quick... BTW, I have the 305/555 same as you...
I have been considering the 62 but I would like to know if anyone can give me a comparison/opinion on the BD - B1 or B1 special as I have heard good things there as well.
The truck has stage 3 injectors, SB 13" CON OFE, 4" exhaust, timing 16*, KDP dead, 5" lift and 35" AT, etc... Oo.
I can't say bad things about the B1's but they are pricey. THe BD stuff is definately an improvement over stock , but last I checked it isn't as good as an HTB2 or an PS/SPS series. I think it is more the lines of an HTBG.
