what size exhaust housing would a stock H1c turbo have off a 1990 12v 5speed

At some point the change was made between auto and manual but thinking it wasn't till 1993... ... ... .



So, given the above it would be same as the auto trucks. 18cm2

Actually, it was in 01 that autos and manuals got different turbos and housings. Sticks were still a HX35/12; auots got a Hy35/9. 94-00 had HX35/12, regardless of tranmission.

I hate to be a stickler (but what the hey) but I believe it was actually 18. 5 cm



Go to a 16 on that vehicle and you will notice a very nice seat of the pants drivability increase. I noticed boost at about 500 rpm less when I switched with no noticsable backpressure at highway speeds (75 mph).

93 = 18. 5

94-98 (12 valves) wastegated 12
