Torque on front spindle nut-Dynatrac

I'm looking for a 16 cfm turbo, under 2k thats reliable and has decent spool up, any ideas? is it better to go with a ball bearing turbo to keep the heat down?

try searching in the competition forum or the forum for 12v 2nd gen engine and read some about turbos and the lingo first.

Yeah, if you don't talk right, you can't play here. :D

You have already said you wanted a 16 housing, and in effect have already chosen your rate of spool up. Look for PDR HX-40 16 or any hybrid based on the S-300 platform. The S-300 is extremely durable and will actually light off in a decent rpm range.

I was saying that it would be better to inquire in a relevant forum and use either specific and correct terms or just say what you need it for IE: power level, DD/tow/pull/race , ect. under $2k for a second gen with decent spool is awfully broad terms!

Ok i understand how what i posted is pretty much just retarded. I'm looking for a turbo that can handle 450-500 hp while keeping egt's low, i tow and want good street performance, but i'm not looking at twins atm. the BD Super B Special can handle those hp ratings but it only comes with a 14cm2 housing, is the S300 basicly the same turbo. i can't find prices on the s300 anywhere.

Both sites have some great deals, and i've heard great things about RIP. I'm looking to make a purchase soon, stock turbo can't handle more then 35 psi, its nothing to build 37 psi with it but after 35 its pure heat and egt's go through the roof, this is why i was leaning more towards the 14 or 16 cm housing, i know they won't light up as quick as the 12 cm but i'm worried about keeping her cool. I see where the turbo Dcreed mentioned would do me well, but i may not put compounds in it, I tend to look at 2 as one more thing going wrong, i know they've come a long ways in the past years but i'm still skeptic about them.

Anyone know what the designations are for Ken Diaz B1 turbos? I bought mine 7 years ago, so I remember the name, but not the specs! It is a B1-2 with a HX40 4"turbine outlet. I recall there are KS (KwikSpool) variants as well as my -2 variants. One change the turbine housing size and one changed the wheel IIRC. Anyway, my combo tows great, but I do have to watch EGTs with 10k loads uphill. An adjustable box or programmer helps, I have used a Comp/Smarty combo as well as the current EZ/Smarty set up.
