Archived Turbocharger boost sensor low (0237)

Where do I start. I think this problem may be related to washing the engine. Everything was ok until then. I washed cold - usually I wash with the engine hot. Engine misses especially under load, full power on throttle is intermittant. Chuggs along but without any zip. Code 237

That is a MAP sensor code. You could try dielectric grease on the connector first but you probably need a new one.

I agree. The MAP sensor is a likely suspect. Several years ago a good mechanic pulled the starter on my '01 to install the contact upgrade kit. The next day when I hooked up my trailer and hit the highway I had low boost, low power, and couldn't make smoke with 275hp injectors. It was the MAP sensor. I think the mechanic accidentally damaged the MAP sensor.
