Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Turbocharger Crazy

I wanted to ask you guys if you have any good resources on turbochargers.

Specifically I want to know what what housing combinations produce which results.



I caught sight of a twin setup and have been awestruck with the idea of a setup to help low rpm lag. I have lots of time to read up on everything I can find between now and when my truck is paid for; so don't worry about me getting a wild hair and killing my engine any time soon.

kind of a roundabout way of solving your problem, but if you want faster spoolup I suggest adding fuel instead of messing with your turbo(s). Go to www.Piersdiesel.com and check out/ read about the stuff on that site. I did the #10 cam plate and 3gsk w/guages and love the kick in the pants it gave my truck.

fuel till you quarter panel looks like a chimney, then air 'til you melt the credit card



read-fuel =injectors

-air = turbo upgrades



Also do a google search for Holset compressor maps... thats the technical end of which turbo will work

I didn't mean for it to sound like i was gonna skip out on the regular bombs. The info on those bombs is plentiful. I just want to learn about the 'chargers themselves. /I like that addage though.
