2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission turn 2wd into 4wd. any welding?

hi, i have a 1998 ram 3500 2wd and i have a 1998 4wd ram 2500 which i don`t use anymore. could i put the front end and transmission and t-case from the 2500 4wd into the 2wd ,without having to weld mounts on the chassis?

what would be the hardest part of this conversion? both trucks are manual 5 speeds with 24v 5. 9 thanks
