I have a 2004 3500 my right turn signal and brake light does not work . The green wire from the fuse box is hot at fuse but is not hot at the truck. I have check the wire to the back of truck therehttps://www.turbodieselregister.com/images/icons/icon5.png is on power in the wire. Was told there is something in the fuse box that control the wire to the trailer need help thanks

There are fuses just for trailer lights and turn signals. If I remember correctly it was advised to reduce the amps on the turn signals because it was noted that the higher amp fuses would not blow if the circuit was overloaded. Think it was remove the 20 amp and replace with a 10 amp. What I did has not had an effect on my lights. But everything on trailer is LED all 65 lights.

Do some research on here for a fix. This is common on this bunch of of truck. The dealer can reset it for you, Expensive, or you can buy a box to eliminate this from happening again. He is right do a different fuse when you get it fixed.

I haven't had that happen to my 95 nor my 05, but it did happen to the F250 I had before the two Dodge trucks. It turned out to be a burnt rear brake light bulb.

He has an 04. Nothing to reset. Check trailer fuses. There are right and left Have you checked the wire at the tail light assy or are you checking at the socket. Have you checked at the trailer connectors? Remove the connection behind the bumper. Corrosion is very common where the wiring enters the female trailer connector.

See TDR Issue 78, page 120 for the possible cause. If you don't have your copy, it's available digitally.

All wires an fuses are fine .Had a trailer shop say there a box under the fuse box that control the trailer lights. Guess I will take to dealer to check it out . thanks

TIPM started in the 06 trucks. and has this same indication, right rear tail light stops working, and effects the trailer lights to. So good luck finding your problem.
