Turn signal recall/fix tach?

Has anyone else received this? Mine have been acting up, especially when I put it on "left turn, Clyde". It will bounce back and forth between left and right. My main question is, when they fix the turn signal, does it fix the tach that seems to be all over the place too? What do they do to fix the signal? I also noticed when I push the odo button, the tach changes!

Did you get it under warranty or did you have to pony up to get it fixed?

I don't know the number; I got a recall notice in the mail.

Have the turn signal problems in my '05, actually working correctly now that I applied a "lot" of extra pressure to the stalk in both directions. Asked 2 different dealers to fix it when truck in for warranty repairs---both stated "working as designed"... Heard some guys talking about complaining to/ sending the bad multifunction switch to NHTSA (?) to force a recall but lost track of that. Is recall specifically for '06 trucks or what?
