2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Turn Signal Sticking?

I was sitting at a red light today with my turn signal on and noticed that the little green arrow on the dash board was staying lit longer than normal (about 5 seconds). Is there a relay that is sticking?

Could be your turn signal relay. On your 97, there is a relay for the turn signal and another one for the hazzard lights. Look in the fuse panel inside the cab and swap these two relays with each other. See if that cures the problem.

Check if you have a bad bulb. Are all lights working?

Yes, all the lights are working. Tomorrow I will try switching the relays to see if that changes anything.
