2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Turn Signal

Little help needed. Today I on the way to work, I noticed the left turn signal when activated blinks very rapidly. The right turn signal blinks at the normal pace. What causes the turn signal to blink so rapidly, it just started doing it today?



Is the flasher going out? Electrical problem? Where should I look?



Tried a search with no luck.

Found a bunch of info with a new search, will check my tail light, seems to cause the problem of fast blinker when burned out.

That is exactly what is causing the "fast" blinker. My rear tail light is out. From reading other posts, this is a feature (quick blinker) that indicates the light being burned out.
