2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission turn signals

changed tail lights now turn signals flash real fast, what could be the cause? TIA

Did you go to LEDs?

Yes I did change to LED's

Buy an electronic flasher designed for LED's, Trico did make one, that is what I have in Mr 01.5 to fix that issue.

Or add a resistor. The LED's don't have enough resistance for the flasher to work properly.

Better to get electronic flasher IMHO. The resistor adds load to the circuit to get flasher to work. Electronic one does not.

Absolutely correct. Originally I used resistors with my LED's, those suckers dissipate a lot of energy as heat defeating one of the benefits of LED; lower power consumption. The flasher is a good fix, your truck should take an EP27 flasher, find one designed for LED's, here is an example (not sure of quality of this brand) : http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/d...ck=Search_01546_1354799_-1&pt=01546&ppt=C0117
