2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Turning door rolling locks on?

Someone tell me the trick again for turning on/off the switch to allow the doors to automatically lock at 15 mph or whatever it is?



I tried it once but must not have done it right!

dont remember how many times to turn key then push door lock cert. way. It says how in owners man. Would go look but to damm cold out :{

Yup, read the owner's manual. Be sure to push the lock switch to the lock position, not un-lock. That's the most common error. From memory, its something like: ignition switch to the On position three times. While still on, wait for a bell tone, (about a second or two), then push switch to lock.

Please don't take this for gospel, but it should be close to correct.

In the '99 manual page 11,

Doors closed

Key from off to on 4 times ending in on.

Driver side door lock to "lock" position within 30 seconds.

You will hear a single chime when programming is complete.
