Which Stacks???????

Anyone have pictures of their stacks? Thinking about a future purchase. Maybe cut down so you can just barely see them from the front? Where did you buy them? Are they loud inside the cab? Thanks in advance!

With a single turbo has a little bark to it with twins not bad 2nd turbo is like a muffler. I have some pictures of 45 cuts in 5" & 6"s

All nice rides, but, how's the soot on the camper? Managable? My exhaust soots the side pretty bad now and I'm looking for an alternative. Pic's of my camper in my Rig's gallery.

I have Bullhauler's, they help "throw" the soot out a little farther than the regular turnouts (mainly at start up) it still gets the truck a tad sooty if its wet outside but if it stays dry I dont have any problems. The noise isnt bad either, I like the sound of them. (pics in reader's rigs)

Whats a decent price for a stack setup? Where?

James this place is your one stop shop:

I went with the 5" turnouts on my truck, the stacks are 36" long and I have them pointing straight back but after seeing some of these other guys pic's I might have to turn them to the side and see how I like that.

Here are my brother's stacks on his 99. They are 5 inch 36" long.

We built the kit ourselves by buying pieces and parts because there weren't really any kits then. You can usually get a grand rock kit fairly reasonable now.

At 75 they do drone quite a bit in the cab. At 60 empty they aren't bad at all. In town,... who cares the window is usually down listening to them :D

I had mitres and then went to turn outs. I like the turn outs better. the sound is still the same inside the truck. I got mine from chromedepot.com.

on a quad/short I would go w/ a single turnout or dual miters

if you want to run straight piped, I'd highly recomend investing in some sound deadener!

<-- had three different stack setups on last truck
