Sorry but I didn't know it even existed, but I have tried all types of waxes that costed way more than they were worth and I have had the best results as far as shine and easy removal of road grime, bugs and tar from the good old regular Turtle Wax that costs around $3 and you get many uses out of that plastic can. Even doing a BIG truck.

I have never found a great difference between waxes, but I always use Mineral Spirits to take off the road grime each spring prior to waxing. No harm, and a very clean truck prior to waxing.

I should have said easy removal at next wash. OOPS. Oo.

I have not tried the Ice wax yet, but looking at the advertisment if it's true to what is says it doe's I would like using it. It shows to be clear with no worries of it showing a chalky looking white residue on the black trim parts.

ICE polish

I just did my truck with the product and it's a polish not a wax. It comes with the standard sponge applicator and a micro cloth. Very thin liquid that applies easily over everything, like it is advertised. I'm going to give it another coat this weekend and then decide but initial impression is it's good not spectacular. If you're looking for a quick, easy product to apply over paint, plastic, rubber and chrome I think you would be satisfied. I think after a couple washes it would be gone. I'll update when I do wash.

sounds like the product for me. . my truck only gets a couple of washes a year. .

I use ICE on my Black truck in full sun. It worked great and looks better than Meguiars Gold that I use previously. No white residue on trim. Wax comes off easiest if remove it within the 3-5 minutes after it is applied. ICE detaiter works great also.

Second application of ICE

I did a second application of ICE this weekend and it does look better and does go on extremely quick and eze. Nice that you can do EVERYTHING and absolutely no residual white crap to deal with. I just question the protection factor. Just as an additional note... I did a 'Mothers Clay Bar' over the paint prior to the ICE. Not that it would make any dif but it does remove a winters worth of crud before the polish. I'll see over the next couple months how long the shine lasts compared to wax. I think it's a good product if you're applying frequently, not a once or twice a year solution.

I tried the Turtle Wax ICE today and have to say I am not that impressed. Followed the instructions to the letter and after an hour, the thin coating hadn't dried to a haze, it was still liquid and streaking. The truck looks good, but thats because its two weeks old. I tried it because I have no shade to use a traditional wax so I thought this might be the next best thing. I guess next I will try Nu Finish next because you can use it in direct sunlight. What are the drawbacks to using a paste wax like Zymol in direct sunlight?

You guys need to try Eagle Ones wax as you dry. Apply as you dry and when your finished drying your DONE. Doesn't get any EASYER than that.
