TV cable appear to be too long. WTF???

OK, I basically bolted this engine and transmission back together exactly as it came apart. Problem is, when I reassembled everything the kickdown, er, um... TV cable wound up with an "S" in it which is now causing it to bind. #@$%! Everything is EXACTLY as it came out of the donor vehicle, except I did cut off part of the bracket that held the shifter cable and welded it to the side of the one that hold the shifter cable (they both bolt into the same hole on the front of the transmission).



Is there anyplace where I can get a shorter cable made up? What the heck is wrong here?
