Hey, TV programming is in the dumper. As you can see by the following top 10 listing from Nielsen Nov20-26 its no wonder that our country is coming apart. Violence and sex abound. Nothing wrong with some adult comedy programs (non violent)at the proper time frame 10o'clock or later. Kids should be in bed by that time and have been sleeping for already an hour. Call the stations if you prefer better programs.

1. Desperat Housewives.

2. CSI Miami

3. Fox NFL

4/5. Greys Anatomy / Deal or No Deal

6. NCIS

7. Criminal Minds

8. CSI Thanksgiving

9. Sunday Night Football

10. CSI NY/Law and Order/Two and a Half Men

Can't stand 98% of tv programming. The wife and I both like TLC, Travel channel, and the RFD-TV channels. They can keep the rest of it.

Those are all major network (ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, etc) shows right? Haven't watched network TV since Seinfeld ended (that was the only show I watched even then) except for the local news. Other than that, what little I do watch has to be on Discovery, History, HGTV, RFDTV, TLC, AMC, TMC, SPEED, SPIKE, TVLAND or the HBO and Cinemax channels (ya gotta have some premiums when every channel you go to is commercials! I can't stand commercials. ) If I could have only three, they would be Discovery, History and HGTV.

I really don't know how the major networks stay afloat these days. All their prime-time stuff sucks. Actually, prime-time or not, everything except the local news is worthless.

And I'm really sick of the adult themed commercials any time of day. My 7 year old loves Star Trek Next Generation on Spike TV Saturday mornings/ early afternoon. The show is pretty much appropriate for his age, but the constant barrage of Viagra type commercials, and promos for their late night stuff (really raunchy and violent, the kind of stuff I enjoy ;) ) is not appropriate for kids. I'm waiting to hear him ask, "Daddy, what's erectile dysfunction?" How do you answer that to a seven year old?

Done ranting.

the ones i red i watch regularly. . and they all get watched off the pvr box sometimes 4 weeks after they aired

I don't think I've seen ANY of them. (maybe a few minutes of football when 60 minutes would get delayed, but that was years ago)

I watch CBS Sunday Morning pretty regularly (just started that about a month ago) and sometimes something on the Hi Def or included movie channels if something looks interesting. I don't watch TV much at all... .

Happily I have never seen any of those programs :)

Military Channel

Discovery

History

Shepherds Chapel

Star Trek next generation on whatever network

Mamas Family

Simpsons

CNN

Is all we watch. Dont give a knats hiney about football, wrestling ANY reality show, ANY prime time show.
