I am curious what type of hp numbers the guys with the hottest twin turbo setups are making. Undountly Schieds truck is the hottest, but after being a tractor pulling enthusiast all my life it appear that a lot of the twin turbo trucks, maybe able to make the same amount of power with a single turbo??? For instance a 650 cubic in pro stock tractor, can make 1500 Hp( single turbo) easily. So I would think with the same technolgy the cummins could make half that ( 750)just by comparing cubic inch numbers. From my understanding a super stock tractor,( multiple turbos), can make over 2000hp, with an engine in the 600 Cubic in range. Therefore how many twin setups are over 750 hp. it seems like there is a technology difference, betwwen the two sports. The cummins engine is basically a tractor engine, so it should be able to perform as well as engines of similar size in a tractor. But when the superstock trucks pull, they pull more like a prostock tractor, than a superstock tractor.
