Ok, here's the parameters for turbo support of Drag Racing with 650hp to 850hp:

1) Small Turbo - What size exh. and compressor housings that will spool up the large turbo very quick?

2) Large Turbo - What size exh. and compressor housings that once spooled make huge power but quickly enough to maximize the twins setup in the 1/4 mile?

3) When making recommendations, pls include things like turbine pitch & rake angles, clipped tips or whatever, bearings - ceramic, ball or whatever, cold pipes 3", 31/2" or 4". On cold pipe size I want to know what works best, not just for looks but what does the job?? Downpipe size,... what do you recommend? :D

Ok guys, hook me up with your input & knowledge. Tks.

Bump!! There's tooooo much knowledge out there for no help. Watcha guys do get all liquored up on green beer,... . imagine that!Oo. Oo.

The set of Big Twins that I. I. is putting out that have the Silver Bullet and Big Brother would do the trick. Now if you wanted the build your own set then go for it, but I would still use that combo of turbo's.

I ran my SPS 66 and Big Brother for along time and the potential is there, I made it to 850 on #2... only(no water) and there was plenty more were that came from. That combo ran at 80 psi with a PDR intercooler and the intake temps were 150 degrees.

Were you fireringed? I've heard fireringing is good to 100psi,... do you know? I guess for that big of a set of turbos then you had better be rocking at or near 80psi.

Do you know what the combo of II has for CFM,..... and when they use the larger small turbo do they mod the exh housing for spoolup?

Don't know much about there combo but I do know what those turbo's are capable of match together.

My combo, the same single O-ring I have run in the head for the last 4 years. 100+ psi of boost is fine if you can light the turbo's and keep the air temps down, there is a crossover there. It should take and external wastegate to make 100 psi out of that combo but I may be wrong, remember all I ran was the same wastegate that the 66 came with.
