Recently I've been trying to decide on what turbo I want to run. Joe at West Coast Diesel here in California mocked up a set of twins that caught my eye though. He's got an hx35 feeding into an s400. What do you guys think?
I've tried the 3b, the B2, and the K31. The 3B still has the advantage in my opinion because of the different exhaust housings available. The B2 is a bit sluggish compared to a 3B/22. I ended up with the k31 on the bottom for a daily driver, and the B2 with larger injectors for the dyno stuff. 3B with an 18 or 22 would work for both .
The truck is strictly for fun. I use it as a daily driver though. I don't have a problem fabbing it up if it's worth my time. Whats the advantages of running that twin setup verses a Sled Puller 66? Obviously spool up, but for a few hundred more than the sp66 I can build this set of twins. What kind of power could I see out of this setup? Thanks A lot! - Buck
