does anybody know if the 97' block has the freezeplug to drain the primary turbo into or is there a better way. Don't really want to drill and weld into oil pan if I don't have to. If so does anybody have the part # for the freezeplug with drain fitting.
Freeze plug would be kinda high for a drain wouldn't it? 98 12V's with 53 blocks have the pair of oil drain bungs or whatever the correct term for them is.
I was just going to ask about this today! I have to weld a drain into the pan. What is everyone using for it? is it a custom made piece or can you buy them somewhere. I have the tig and all the tools so I can make anything work... pretty much anyway but just want to know what everyone is using. (engine is also out of the truck so that makes it easy right now!)
don't want to tee them together, guess I'm going the oil pan route, what is everybody using for this setup. Is there a part # from cummins that's readily available.
