Twoms piping-- where to get it?

Is there any place where you can get 4" and 5" piping for twins fabbing? How about radiused bends, etc. ? I could handle MIGging up some parts and all, but rolling my own sheetmetal and making the tubing seems a little daunting.....

Can you just take Class 8 exhaust parts and chopsaw, weld, hotbend, and fab your way to twins heaven?

I am going to be fabbing my twins when and if the time comes, and since I am using B-series chargers, I'll need to fab some crap.

I figure I can get the local machinist to fab flanges for me from 1/2" plate and weld the hot pipes myself. I'll just give 'em a template.

So, you guys who fabbed your own twins, where did you get the parts????

Justin

The flanges you'll need are pretty easy to come by if you do some shopping... no need to have a machine shop fab them up...

Turbine inlet:

The small turbo uses standard T3 flanges...

The big turbo uses standard T04 flanges...

Turbine outlet:

The small turbo uses a standard 3" V-band flange...

The big turbo usually uses a 5" 1/2 Marmon flange...

Do a search for Grand rock pipes,( grpipes.com??/) They are a heavy truck exhaust company, They have about everything, and will custom make stuff also. There prices arent to bad either.

What is the flange size then?

I've been calling them T04's for quite a while... (my bad!)

I'm positive that the little turbos use a T3 flange, though... (at least I got that right!)

Matt

I dont know what the flange size is called for those two turbos. I would call Columbus Diesel and ask them. I know the B2 is a more common size than the HT3B though.
