I am a new member with a new 12 valve project. It will be used for heavy towing, and I am going to go with twin turbos as I don't want to worry about EGTs or bad turbo lag. I have looked at the kits from BD, Piers & ATS. Could someone tell me what's the difference between the turbo's they use? Are any of their kits better suited for towing as opposed to ultra high boost applications? I'm looking at +/- 45psi, no more. Low rpm response is very important to me.

Thank you in advance for your replies!

The BD kit is well sized for towing. Piers has a towing kit with a HX35 on top that will also work well. Holding them down to 45 psi could be difficult depending how much fuel you hit them with.

As a quick spooling good breathing setup for say 375-450hp I sometimes wonder about using a HY35 on top, turning it into a "Nasty Nine" with a big external WG, and like a Phat Shaft 66 as the secondary?

I agree that that my be a sweet setup too. However, like vaughn says, and external gate is essential. My 35/12 gets hot without an external gate.
