I run PDR HX40 - 16 on the top and a PDR HT3B - 26 on the bottom. I run them at 60 PSI, I had run them a litle higher but found 60 is the sweet spot since they do 1:1 at this pressure. 1400 rpm = 20 psi, 1600 = 35 psi, and by 2000 rpm = 50 psi then to 60 very fast ( these are approx numbers things happen fast). I run 160 HP edm from BD but have run Jammers#3, with jammers I couldn't get my egt's over 1250 pre turbo( very streetable and could tow no problems). I drove the truck every day 100 - 200 km with towing to 12000 lbs off road work. I just retired It at 210,000 kms it's know my weekend warrior.

And YES I do run propane and water/meth at the same time after very carefull calculations on blending ( had to put it in, everyone asks).

I like the twins it made the truck streetable and the cam from Piers brings it on a lot sooner.

Hope that helps a little.

I'm running J. R. Adkins twins right now, very good. Top charger is HX-40 and bottom is 4C. The 4C is alot bigger than a 3B, but spoolup is nearly the same. Give J. R. a call he can build you whatever you want for your application.

Why Scott! I do believe the bombing bug's infection has completly penetrated your remaining defenses! :-laf :-laf

wow scott, if you do this i definately want to test drive your truck again. sounds like alot of fun.

like Boydo, i run the PDR Street/Strip twins. they light off around 1400-1500 and pull to around 60-65lbs of boost depending on how hard i hit it.

I tow a 9800# toy hauler and have had no problems towing. On some steep and long pulls i have to back out but can pretty well always maintain speed on the hills with EGT's never over 1200 (pre). if i get below about 60MPH in 5th i have to back out often due to heat or down shift.

they are the most usable power I've ever had.

I'm running a Dodgezilla and a TAD B2 with much success. I see 1200 on 5X5 on a grad comp with Don M Mach 6 injectors. That B2 comes on pretty fast but they are both screaming at 1800-2000 making anywhere from 65-70 lbs of boost, depending on the weather. They are very driveable. Contact Olee and powerbypoole.com if you would like to know more.

what HP is your set-up?

is that empty or towing? how hard is it to light the turbos

Chris the lag is a bit over that of a HX40 single. temps are not really a concern unless you are towing heavy. they run WAY cooler than a single charger. In 5th i can go to WOT until it tops out the RPMs (3400@112-115MPH) and not see over 1150. it doesnt stay in the other gears long enough to get any hotter.

empty, i watch the boost guage, so i dont over boost it and pop the air to air.

towing, i watch the temp guage, i climb the big hills at 1200 and dont go above it. if i can keep it above 70MPH there aint a Missouri boot heels hill that can stop me.

something I've noticed is the air filter seems to get dirty faster and when it does i run a bit hotter but mostly start to notice more smoke.
