I building a a towing rig i useing a 12v cummins as the base and i plan on fire ringing and the hole 9 yards i was just wanting some info on what style or brand or twin turbos everbody prefers i here good and bad things from all the companys so i was just looking for some input on who would have the best setup for a towing truck. Thanks Bryan

I would not fire ring a street driven daily driver as they tend to fail due to the excessive amount of heat duty cycles. Most everyone I know who has been fire ringed on their street truck all have had failure of them within short milages and then have gone to a o-ringed head. O-ringed head is more street friendly and will cause you less headaches in the long run.

As for towing twins... .

HX40/HT3B is one of the best bangs for the buck you can find for twins. They will do the job you want and still make good power if you decide to tune for power later. You could also go with a small S300 over a small S400 and not go wrong either... ... . Andy

I had no trouble with the stock head gasket and bolts at the kind of power you are making now. I am very happy with my BD twin turbos. They have lasted at least three times as long as a single turbo with my usage, and they are still going strong.
