Housing Question

Don't see many funnel clouds at a high altitude place like Laramie but Sunday I saw one between here and Cheyenne and last night we had one as close as 3 miles north of town. I grew up in the midwest where spending time in the basement during a storm was pretty common. Pretty weird two twisters and several bad T-storm warnings in 3 days.

I guess they evuacuted all trailer parks in town - I was at the movies and they stopped it to let everyone know what was going on. No big deal just thought it was pretty unusual, 2 twisters in three days and I don't remember any before these two.

Geese Gies! That's a bit close to home! Them storms hit us at around 11 pm it sounded like Tiger Woods was driving balls into the side of my house. No damage done. Were you at the movie theater that still has wooden chairs?

TCP - the theatre we were at is the "cheap seats" - we were watching Lord of the rings and they just remodeled the theatre not too long ago - really pretty nice for 3 bucks. I read in the paper today that Monday's storm that hit Cheyenne caused 35 Million in hail dammage. ouch!

Well, if I didn't have bad luck, I wouldn't have any at all. Wouldn't you know I had to go out of town Mon. night and left my truck sit at the state motor pool. Yep, hood and roof got hail damage. Never got a drop of rain or hail at the house west of town where my truck would normally sit! Anybody know where I can find a new Ford-- just haven't had much luck with this Dodge.

you better get over to Laramie for a counseling session - repeat after me, "I will never say the F word again... "

sorry to hear about the hail. what's the insurance guy say?

I was coming back from the Mesa, west of Pinedale, Tues evening when I heard the announcement over the radio:eek: The clouds looked pretty wicked.

Well, the storm ripped through here again this afternoon. Fortunately for me and my truck we were out in Albin getting a load of hay, came accross the scales at 17,980 lbs tonight! Drove home in the rain:rolleyes: I told my "hay guy" about a year ago that I can't buy a load of hay without some rain. Got home to find my brand new horse trailer is hail damaged:mad: :( :( I haven't even had horses in it yet!!!!!! Good thing the wife called the insurance company Monday when we picked it up and put full coverage on it. Maybe we'll come out on top.

Buddy of mine lucked out with the hail yesterday. He was in a low speed head-on last weekend, his insurance wasn't going to total his '01 Tundra. Hail came and changed that in about three minutes.

Friends dont let friends drive Fords  Dont do it buddie there steel is just as cheep ... ... ... ... ... ... ... we are here for you :)

no ford dude !!!

I ended up with a Trails West 4 horse Gooseneck. It was the only trailer in the area that we liked, had all the features we wanted AND the stalls are big enough for my percheron draft horse. It has drop-down feed doors, front tack with swing out saddle rack, sing out blanket rack and lots of hooks. It's all steel except the nose is fiberglass and the roof is one-piece aluminum. The aluminum now looks like girls in high heals were two-steppin' on it. Oh well, they tell me I'm in good hands with Allstate.

tpc-- sounds like a nice trailer. Before I got my aluminum Exiss, I had a steel Titan and liked it a lot especially since we don't have to worry about rust too much out here. Kevin, I must have been going thru Yellowstone Drug malt withdrawals. The old Dodge has really treated me pretty well and when, in my delirium, I looked at Ford window stickers, it brought me back to my senses in a hurry. JGeis, I did do a bit of therapy at the rifle range in Laramie a week ago. Meet with the insurance adjuster next Tues. If nothing else, it's just more money to stick into the pot for the Denver Off Road bumper.

if you are coming over again to shoot at the range let me know and I'll tag along. My . 340 WBY could use a few rounds pushed thru it!

getting ready for opening day? I've been archery hunting already. no luck yet though.
