Two 03 questions

I have two questions about the 03's:

1. Is the block heater no longer standard equipment on the Cummins?

2. Can you get the 03 automatic transmission with exaust brake? Does it void your warantee as in the past?

The block heater is standard. The new auto that will be comming out for the HO Jan 03 (?), will be compatable with the Jake Brake.

1. As far as I know the block heater still comes standard with the diesel engine.



2. It remains to be seen but the rumor is that the new 48RE transmission is exhaust brake compatible and will not effect the warranty.

By the way, Paul. The e-brake from jacobs/cummins never did void your warranty with the standard transmission. I went thru this at length with Chrysler back in 98 with my 24 valve.
