OK, I've got two transmission questions:
1. I've got the aluminum adapter from Genos that mounts the trans temp probe on the cooler line, as opposed to inside the cooler line. It occurred to me the other day that there may be a fairly significant delay/difference between the actual temp and what the probe sees. Does anyone else have some experience with this? I did use never-seize on the outside and inside of the adapter.
2. I'm starting to gradually build up my transmission to make it nearly bulletproof. I would like to do the work myself, but don't want to have my truck disabled alot as I gradually make the upgrades. Crazy as this may sound, I was wondering if anyone knew where I could find a useable transmission core that I could gradually build up as my budget allows. Then, I could just swap in the built one. Any ideas, or am I just loosing it? :-laf
