Thining out the fat dodge

Ford 6.0L designed to require centane additives???

Ok, so one was my girlfriend and the truck was mine.

Girlfriend and her friend met me for a late lunch in Denver. Mackenzie (girlfriend) asked if "they" could take my truck back to the Springs. I said ok. I trust her and she likes to show off. She always asks me to take it out without me, to see how many guys hit on her. I followed her from the mall where we ate to the on-ramp to I-25 and she was playing with my box, smoking me out and showing off. They looked good in my little red truck!

She is one in a million :)

There is something about a guy's girlfriend driving his truck that really looks neat!

My girl is about 5' 5", and 105 pounds, but she knows how to put the pedal to the metal in my Cummins! I was working on a spec home when I first got my truck, and we needed some sod. She took the truck and got about a freakin' ton of sod loaded onto it and came back sitting pretty and proud.

... It can get worse...

Have the wife's truck faster than yours, all the paint is still on hers...

But she looks great behind the wheel!!!!!

Back before I got mine---A nice 1st Gen 4x4 with camper shell came in a parked next to me at a Mountain Bike Race. THREE Racer-Chicks got out!!!

My friends wife has a sticker on the back window of her Dodge Cummins truck that says "Silly boys... . Trucks are for girls" :)

My wife swore she'd never give up on her V10 gasser, saying my diesel was too loud and smokey. I still haven't convinced her that's a good thing. But 8mpg finally wore her down and the quiet new 3rd gen won her over.

Looks pretty cool in her fire-engine red 3500 with all the purty lights. She can't hide her smile when she passes other trucks on the steep mountain hills.

Yep when I got my bright Red with Black cab 3/4 ton 4x4 Dodge my wife couldn`t keep her hands off of it. She drove that thing like a sports car through town and traffic. Talk about make the guys look. The only thing is that was in 1967 when trucks were trucks and 4x4 where few and far between and she was 20 years old. Well she`s a little older now and won`t even touch the 97 Dodge. But she likes her Tahoe and she like her car a little bigger and more comfortable.

I let a girl that I'm seeing drive my truck the other day. She has a half ton Chebby but loves to go places in my truck (I think she prefers it to be honest). Something about a 5'6" 110lb blonde driving thru a pasture or rowing the gears and making smoke. She also likes to have the windows down and the stereo cranked up.

I get some odd looks in my truck when I get in one of my moods with the rap music booming and the tunes are thumping out of a 4x4 dually. :D

Are you sure they aren't planning a linching? Your profile lists Lousiana. I have a tendancy to be very very careful when I go south. , especially that south. :)

When I met my wife, then girlfriend, She had a 79 k-5 blazer, attended a catholic college in SD CA, and loved the dunes. She was quite happy to see a set of 4" springs in the back seat of it on her b day. I knew she was a keeper then. She's a missile officer in the Air Force now. Gotta love a girl with good taste and a license to kill !!!

Grey Wolf,

Any idea where I can get that "silly boys... " sticker? Everybody seems to have the hardest time understanding that this truck is MINE.

Another 5'4" 110 pound girl who LOVES her CTD! And yep, I do get the strange looks, especially with the horse trailer behind and the 18 hand Tennessee Walking Horse inside.

I just LOVE the looks of amazement on their faces!

Just hope she doesn't run across Cass, driving my 7000 lb. sports car. :D She'll be upset if another chick smokes her;) .

No no lynchings going on towards me. I get the looks cause I have a big ol truck with a Confederate 3rd National flag on the front bumper and team roping stickers on the back glass and it's hard to take it when there's some ghetto funk stuff coming out of it. Most people expect some Hank Williams or something (course that also gets blared too).

Welcome to the forums Valerie. You'll come to appreciate the ignorance and perversion that can be found around here. Glad there's another lado on the boards.

I once saw a brunette driving a dually (ISB/Dodge)... she looked down at me in my yellow Beetle and smiled... . I melted.

Probably thought I was a contender for Queer Eye for the Straight Guy...

Thanks for the info guys! Grey Wolf, thanks for the great leads. I can't believe you knew where to get those great stickers! I am ordering one tonight...

I think you all are just slightly perverted, and I have learned everything I know about diesels in the last 6 months from the forums - I teach school, and my students (mostly cowboys and farmers) are SO impressed when I talk upgrades with them.

Thanks for the help with impressing 14 year old boys - it goes a long way in the classroom!

Valarie

Even better!

Girlfriend made a deal with me tonight that if I let her take my truck to go bowling, on the tank of diesel SHE bought, mind you, that she will help change my oil tomorrow. No, you can't borrow her! :)

Matt,

That's why I don't like driving my wife's Beetle solo:-laf :-laf I personally think there's nothing more attractive than a woman driving either a CTD or a Beetle (especially an old one)
