Two problems!

Well the first problem is I think I need a new power steering pump. I has a leak in it. It is hard to discribe where it is but i think a seal is bad. Dose any one know if i can rebuild it? If not how much will a new one run?



Second problem I think my trany is starting to dislike me. It feels good in first the first to second shift seams to slip a bit and the second to third feels good and OD seams fine. It also shutters when i am doing about 50 and i want to power up a little bit. Any suggestions? I really dont want to have to replace the trans yet. I know it was rebuilt in "99". If i have to get a new one it is going to get a DTT trans so i know it can take the abuse.

Mine is leaking also, however its leaking from around the cap??



I changed the cap and it still leaking getting oil all over the side of my engine :{ can't figure it out

My pump is leaking from the shaft that comes out of the housing in the front. It leaks enough that i put fluid in it just before winter hit and i need to put more in it. About 8 months. It is making an awful mess.



I'll check my fluid in my trans to see if it is low. I am hoping that is what it is (as I cross my fingers).

ok the trans was just low on fluid (thank god). I still have my power steering pump problem. does anyone know where i can get an after market pump and how much?
