Any news on TST?

Is a BD Pressure-Loc any good?

I did a search for it, but came up with everything BUT. I always find myself trying to shift from sixth to seventh, DUH... . like there WAS ONE! Finding reverse instead! I just can't help but think if there was a good way to drop my rpm's at 80mph when not loaded i culd get better mileage. Seems I would have plenty of torque to keep it rolling easy too. I drive 35 miles each way and it aint getting any shorter anytime soon.

'01 HO six speed 2wd all stock.

This topic surfaces from time to time. The general consensus is that two speed rears are to big. Better to look at an auxilery transmission such as US Gear or Gearvendors. Or look into picking up a "Brownie" at a wrecking yard. (I think that's the right name anyway. ) The Brownie is an auxileray transmission that was used in trucks. You can find them with under, direct and overdrive ratios.

Maybe you could go to taller/bigger tires to get the rpms down when cruising the highway, I think it would be much cheaper to do that than a speed aux box. But if ya want to shift more it just isn't gonna do any good... :)
