Does anyone know the frequency the u connect is? The dodge u connect web page says a motorola ve20 is a compatible phone but i think i tried to connect one to my truck before at the Sprint store and it wouldn't. Sprint wants to replace my phone that did work that is lost with a ve20. I called uconnect help desk and local dealer but niether kneew the frequency. the owner manuel says the phone needs to be version 0. 96 or higher. Thanks

Yup, it's just plain ole bluetooth which is frequency hopping. Some phones/headsets etc are easy as pie to connect, others seem easy unless you miss just 1 important detail. I've seen many bluetooth devices that wouldn't connect to anything until they were powered down and the battery removed (hard reset) then magically they'll work.

I haven't read the manual but I also have no idea what they could be talking about v0. 96. Bluetooth went from 1. 0 to 1. 1 to 1. 2 to 2. 0 to 2. 1 to 3. 0 blah blah blah - most of that was ages ago.
