U-connect "warbling" distortion

My U-connect hands-free system works, and sounds great inside the truck, but the person at the other end complains that my voice has a "warbling"

sound, like I'm underwater. Anyone else had this? Is it , maybe, a problem with certain phones? Any ideas on how to make it better?

I had Uconnect on my '05 and used it extensively. I had a few people complain about it sounding like I was standing in the wind, but that is it. Have you tried your phone with a bluetooth headset? Have you tried someone else's phone through your Uconnect? I suggest some experimentation.

I installed mine in my 06 from Dodge kit. It sucked. Too many people had problems with the way it sounded. Seems my BT earbud style was ALOT BETTER. I guess I wasted $200. Worst part, new Motorolla phones won't work. Called BT direct and they said, "Sorry, not suported format"... . did I mention my new phone was 3 months AFTER the install? Sucks...

Take it for what it's worth... use an earbud style BT (bluetooth)
